COLEMERE CARAVAN PARK
Colemere Caravan Park is not only for adults but pets as well. Only kids are not allowed in this friendly site. If you desire nature-spotting, serenity and scenery on holiday, this spot is the best place for you.
Colemere Caravan Park is set on the south side of the Lake. It is a countryside setting on five acres of grassed land, brushing the edge of a beautiful lake, and situated in the picturesque village of Colomere, which consists of a church and many 15th Century thatched Tudor cottages which are mentioned in the Doomsday Book. The site is tremendous scientific interest and contains a range of wildlife, including Otters. Colemere Caravan Park has a purpose-built full circular walk which takes you via a beautiful wooded rhododendron added walk.
Wood Lane nature reserve is one of the best attractions of this site. Even the experts at the BBC describe it as one of the best bird-watching spots in Shropshire. You can have wild swimming at the reserve as well.
This park ensures that its guests are kept comfortable at this tranquil and famous site. There is an excellent range of accommodation options; you will have access to a fully-equipped and cute social area, all hand-built and including a kitchen with microwave, utensils, fridge, kettle, and pots. You can also get firepits on request, and you can bring your barbecues. If you want to keep toasty after that, a Nordic wood-fired hot tub overlooking the lily pond is available for couples only to hire in the evenings and afternoons for four hours.
You will find picnic tables dotted around to station the campfire food on, and the motorhome has well-kept separate bathrooms for gents and ladies. There are camping pods, which are fully insulated, double glazed with mains electricity and television. The camping pods are built of Pine with handmade Oak Fascia, presenting a warm Nordic feel. It is guaranteed that you will feel lovely and friendly no matter what season you visit this site because of triple insulation and glow LED lights in each corner.
